ARIF SIGNS CONTRACT.

We are proud to announce that SMK La Salle Petaling Jaya and Mr. Arif Fahmi Adnan has agreed terms on an extension one year contract. The deal was completed this morning and the service of Mr.Arif Fahmi Adnan will officially begin on the 4th of January 2010.

AL-FATIHAH

At 12.50 noon (Malaysia time) our beloved Tokwan passed away due to kidney failure in Kepala

Batas Hospital. Funeral has been arranged for tomorrow 10.00 a.m before the Friday prayers. Tokwan or Hj. Bahari b. Salleh will always be remembered as a funny, happy-go-lucky grandfather to all his grandchildren. In this difficult moment, our prayers and thought goes to Tokwan.

Pada jam 12.50 tengah hari (waktu Malaysia) Tokwan yang kita amat sayang telah menyahut panggilan Ilahi disebabkan kegagalan paru-paru berfungsi di Hospital Kepala Batas. Pengkebumian akan diadakan pada 10.00 pagi sebelum sembahyang Jumaat. Tokwan atau Hj. Bahari b. Salleh akan sentiasa dikenang sebagai seorang yang kelakar dan manja bagi cucu-cucunya. Marilah kita sedekahkan Al-fatihah kepada jenazah dan semoga rohnya dicucuri rahmat. Insya-Allah.

STATEMENT ON TOKWAN'S HEALTH

Haji. Bahari or fondly known as our Tokwan was admitted to the Kepala Batas Hospital in Penang last week is reported in stable condition. We all pray for the best for him and hope for a speedy recovery.

Sapienta Et Caritas.

Tomorrow will mark another chapter in my life. Friday,November 20th 2009 will be my last day as a teacher for this year. Although my contract runs until the end of the year, my duties as a teacher will end tomorrow. Talks regarding extending my contract for next year is still on-going and I hope I can stay at SMK La Salle PJ for next year. With the new batch of form 1 students arriving, It will be exciting to see next year students and challenges. I still have a lot to offer.

I'm very happy to be in La Salle for it's surroundings and friends that I gather throughout the year. Everyone have been very accommodating towards me and helpful. Each and every teacher in SMK La Salle are different and expert in their fields. This is one job that I really enjoy working.

I will be better prepared for next year, and there's always room for improvement. I would also like to apologize to each and every one of you in La Salle if there's any mistakes that I did. I will be leaving to U.K this Saturday for two weeks(Apology again, this time to Saiful Anuar because I can't make it for your wedding,Congrats bro).

So, until next year, hope to see all of you again and have a great new year.
